I will be competing at the Hamburg Marathon on April 23 in my new home town. If my elevation training continues to go so well, I’ll try to beat the Olympic marathon standard of 2:08:10. The Haspa Hamburg Marathon digital press conference today was also joined by Hamburg’s top runner Tabea Theman, who called in from Iten, Kenya. High altitude training is so important! In Ethiopia I am currently training very hard together with Tadu Abate, a great runner, third in Berlin 2022, who has also already won the Hamburg Marathon and told me a lot of good things about the event. He also took the photo this morning after training 😉
